Having served you for over 5 years through countless ups and downs, and laughs and trolls, I have decided its finally time for this website to say goodbye. I opened the website initially with the concept of providing everyone who didn't live in Japan with direct-download no-bullsh*t downloads at the click-of-a-mouse, we expanded to includes a large forum, chats, interviews with fansubbers, galleries, and of course how can anyone forget, Kenshin's Parodies! I want to personally thank all of the supports of the website, especially to you members who support us by visiting, clicking ads, and donating from time to time. A big shout out to all of our staffs, from past to present, you guys helped shape the website to what it is today. I think other websites are now providing a lot of this stuff, and we are all so busy with our lives now that we can't compete on all fronts, nor do we want to. As long as you guys all get whats needed its all good in my books! I am very proud to have done this all in a total non-profit way, and I am angry at websites such as NarutoFan.com and others who have started charging members to become subscribers and pay for anime. This money does not belong to these people, it should be going to the creators of the animes... so if they can't do it all in a non-profit way they should just stop milking the fans for what they are worth. Have some shame, and a conscience.

Anyways guys, fear not, this is not the end. We are launching a new website that will be moving to the direction of mobile access to fans of animes/mangas aka Otaku's; as well as uniting these fans. I mentioned the project a few posts back, so you guys can go check that post out. It's not up on the Internets as of yet so I'm not giving exact details (so they are not stolen), these details and the information will be posted on Sharingan.net in the coming weeks once we launch the website! Sharingan will remain open for most likely another month before completely closing, so grab everything you guys need, although I will try to move all the data such as posts/members/etc to a section of the new mega-website.

Once again, thank you to everyone, and think of this as a new beginning and not the end! Take Care!
